WLBN-AM was one of two stations that came to the Lebanon and Springfield airwaves.  WLBN-AM hit the airwaves in 1953.  The other of the two stations was WLSK-FM, which hit the airwaves in 1979.

 In 1997 Commonwealth Broadcasting bought the stations. The format of WLSK-FM was changed to Lite-Rock 100.9 WLSK with WLBN-AM becoming "The Music of Your Life".

     To date WLBN-AM and WLSK- FM are still attracting more and more listeners in central Kentucky as both stations recently underwent a format change.  WLBN-AM is now oldies and WLSK-FM is now MIKE 100.9.  What is Mike 100.9?  The best hits from the 80's, 90's and whatever we want to play next!
